Product Sizes & Formats

• What sizes do Keder Screens come in?
  • Open roll: up to 24' wide × 20' tall
  • 5.75" box: up to 18' wide × 14' tall
  • 7.5" box: for 18–24' widths (coming soon)
  • Custom orders: up to 27' wide upon request
• Can you install Keder Screens on sloped patios?
  Yes. We support up to 4" of bias cut to accommodate slope, while keeping the box mounted level.

Motor Options

• What motors are available?
  • Alpha motor (standard, 7-year warranty, Bond Bridge & Neo Smart app compatible)
  • Somfy motor (optional upgrade, 5-year warranty)
  Note: Do not oversell Somfy over Alpha.

Colors & Appearance

• What frame colors are available?
  Black, white, bronze, beige, and tan. Custom colors available upon request.
• What color is the Keder?
  The Keder comes in black (default) or white.

Fabric Options

• What fabrics do you offer?
  Bug screen, solar fabrics (80%–99% openness), vinyl, and blackout fabrics. Combo builds are available (e.g. solar + window).

Mounting Methods

• How can I mount the system?
  Inside mount, outside mount, and recessed mount. Recessed requires a pre-framed pocket or header.
• Can the screen be mounted at an angle?
  No. The box must remain level, but bias cut fabric compensates for slope.

Bottom Finishing

• What bottom seal options are available?
  • 1" double-pile brush (standard)
  • 2" single-pile brush (optional)
  We do not currently offer a gasket-style seal.

Warranty Coverage

• What warranties come with the product?
  • Frame: Limited Lifetime
  • Fabric: 10 years
  • Alpha motor: 7 years
  • Somfy motor: 5 years
  Note: Warranty does not include service or installation labor.

Maintenance Guidelines

• How should I maintain my Keder Screen?
  • Rinse tracks with screen retracted
  • Allow to dry fully
  • Apply dry silicone lubricant to the Kontour wheels (not inside the track)
  • Move bottom bar side-to-side halfway up to spread lubricant
  • Do not operate in freezing rain

Wind & Certification

• Are Keder Screens hurricane rated?
  Not Miami-Dade certified, but tested internally with a fan up to 100+ mph. Hurricane-rated materials available on request.

• How can I become a certified installer?
  • Attend 2–3 day training at Keder HQ
  • Submit required paperwork
  • Hands-on install training included
• How can I become a dealer?
  • Apply via our website form
  • Submit business details
  • Purchase sales kit (refunded after $5,000 in orders)
  • Includes onboarding emails, brochures, and optional training

Purchase Model

• Can I buy directly from Keder Screens?
  No. All sales go through our certified dealer network. DIY models exist internally but are not available for public sale.
